18 to 21 inch bears are shot every year with our services. It is not uncommon to see spring bears in the 300-500lb. range.
We
recommend that you book to hunt after the first week of May. The action at
the baits becomes more stable and the weather begins to moderate
after the first week of May.
We hunt Zones 18, 22, 23, and 24. Much of
our hunting is done on private land that we own in Zones 22 and 23
and on Crown land in Zones 18 and 24.
We
use permanent closed-in tree stands, ground blinds, tripods, ladder
stands, climbers, and hang-on stands, depending on location and
individual ability.
